A Lotus Notes-based console provides a familiar management environment for the central configuration of each component and access to the central quarantine and reporting features.

Administrators can block or quarantine messages based on file type or size, and keyword analysis. Text or HTML elements can be added to the headers and footers of outbound email, using the disclaimer module.

Genotype® virus detection technology proactively blocks families of viruses, and Behavioral Genotype Protection blocks malicious code before it executes, giving the benefits of a Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS) at the email gateway. Updates automatically direct from Sophos
